Fads spots a little
4I have been using this product for the last few weeks. I noticed it worked better on the backs of my hands vs. My face. I've seen the spots lighten up a bit. I hope by using the rest of the product, I will see them lighten up more. I did not like the scent of the product. It almost smells like oranges, but not.

A great potent Vitamin C serum!
5I love this & am likely to add it to my regular routine when I run out. My only recommendation is to ease into it gently as this is very potent (which is a great thing). I started out twice a day as instructed & it was too intense. Within a few days my face was irritated & I had peeling all around my nose. I had to stop using it for about 2-3 days until everything settled down, then I started back just using it in the mornings. At this point I successfully worked into my morning routine & had no further irritation issues. It feels really nice & moisturizing & has an orange candy smell to me, not overpowering & I enjoy it, but if you're sensitive to fragrance it could bother some. I am PAINFULLY dry and have noticed that my skin seems to need less supplemental oil & cream than it did before using this, plus it gives me a nice glow. Prior to using this I had to slather on my heavy face cream with added face oil at least two more times before bed to quench my thirsty skin. Since using this I just have to apply my creams during my routine & then I wake up in the morning & my face still feels supple & moist. Overall this has passed my test! It's hard to tell if it's made a dramatic difference in discoloration or spots as I've been using potent Vitamin C products for years (a serum plus an added C booster & a powder), plus I do not have much hyperpigmentation. At 47 I'm a skincare junkie who's taken immaculate care of my skin so I doubt I would see dramatic improvement with much of anything except maybe expensive in-office treatments. I think the people who will benefit greatly from this are those who are using an inferior vitamin C right now or who aren't using a C serum at all. In my opinion those people will have very dramatic results.

Great Treatment
4The vitamin C. Ester worked great over the week I tried the product. I used mostly on the dark spots on my hands and some little ones on my face. The ones on my face faded a lot, and the ones on my hands did noticeably fade as well. The one thing I did not like about the product is that it smells awful.

Highly Recommend!
5One of the things I really like about this product is that it Is lightweight and absorbs quickly, so it doesn't leave any sticky or greasy residue on my skin. I noticed a visible improvement in my skins overall tone and texture after using this product consistently for a few weeks. My dark spots were noticeably reduced, and my skin looks brighter, and more even. I also love the way it smells, like a fresh, sliced orange! It feels so refreshing when I apply it in the morning. Overall, I highly recommend the Perricone MD treatment to anyone looking for an effective and convenient solution to dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

True to its claims

Seeing results!
5Being over 50 with fair skin and every kind of dark spot you can imagine, I certainly appreciate being given this product to try in exchange for my honest review. I have been using the Intensive Dark Spot Treatment for about 3 weeks. The first thing I noticed was the nice packaging - a brown-tinted, frosted glass pump bottle enclosed inside an easily recyclable box. The pump seems a little stiff at first, so be sure to apply pressure carefully and dispense into your hand. I like to leave the pump guard in place which allows me to dispense only a small amount without overdoing it. The pump does loosen up over time and becomes easier to use without as much pressure. This treatment is a lovely gel serum which makes it easy to apply specifically to the spots you are targeting. A little really goes a long way and this bottle should last for several months used as a spot treatment. It's slightly tacky at first, but after allowing it to dry and topping with your moisturizer or sunscreen, it feels silky smooth, which is an especially nice effect on some of my rougher textured spots. The serum also seems to impart a slight glow which helps the appearance of the skin. The fragrance is very light - right out of the bottle it is an orange citrus scent which fades into a slightly smoky scent. It's much fainter and more pleasant than some of the other Vitamin C brands I've tried and I really love the smell of it. Now, those of us who have battled stubborn pigmentation issues for years know that there are no quick fixes and that consistency and diligence, along with daily sunscreen use, are the keys to success. That being said, I am seeing my dark spots begin to lighten and break up slightly after three weeks of a.m. and p.m. use. I'm optimistic that in 8 - 12 weeks time I'll see a much greater lightening effect. I can imagine that using the complete Vitamin C Ester line would yield even better results and am considering purchasing some of their other products.

2I wanted to love this product but it did not really help me. I used it consistently and all I got was a little dry skin that I don't normally have an issue with for other products. I will not purchase and I won't recommend because it did not work for me

Perricone MD Dark Spot Treatment is great
4I tried the Perricone MD Dark Spot Treatment to work nicely. It was not greasy & didn't dry my skin out. It went on very smooth & was very lightweight. I tried it on a couple of dark spots on my legs and felt it did lighten those spots. I would recommend this product to others. I didn't try it on every spot, I don't have really dark spots so I just used on the spots that I have. I did see great results on those areas. If this was on the market, I would purchase it again. I didn't find there to be a overly strong scent & it was neutral.

Fix the pump please!
3While I like the citrus smell and smooth texture of the serum, I can't say I've noticed a difference with my dark spots. I've used it consistently every morning for the past three weeks so perhaps it is too soon to tell. The one thing that irritates me the most about this product is the dispenser! I wish I had a little more control of how much I would like dispensed. A little goes a long way so not much is needed. Often times, even when I push down gently, far too much product comes out and I feel that it's a bit of a waste. I'll definitely finish the bottle and will come back and review again if I notice a difference in my dark spots.
