Perfect formula but no color

Overall this lipstick is fantastic, definitely one of the top 3 I've ever used for it's formulation. It feels moisturizing and is easy to apply, it smells good, the tube is designed well, and the original pink color is lovely. Unfortunately, my lips have a darker natural color to them and the original pink is EXACTLY the same color as my bare lips, so when I wear this lipstick it looks the same as when I wear a clear lip product. I've tried building up the color but there just isn't enough difference between the color and my lips to be at all noticeable. I may try this in another color but I would be concerned it won't be enough color payoff for me to justify the price.

I love this lipstick with SPF 15. It feels moisturizing and does not have a bad taste like some lipsticks with SPF do. I got red and it is the first time I feel I can wear red without looking harsh. Very pretty and natural. Plus protects my lips from the sun, as I am outdoors a lot.
