I started using this Perricone MD Prebiotic Acne Therapy 90-Day Kit and I could tell it was working within a week of using it. Whenever I start a new acne treatment, my acne usually gets worse before it gets better. That was the case for this product as well but once my face cleared, it's been clear ever since. I wash my face with the cleanser twice a day, followed by the morning step in the mornings and the retinol evening step at night. The kit works well together to keep my face looking nice.

Decent results
Now that I have been using this product for a few weeks I can truly review its results. I like how this product routine is very simple an only two in the morning and at night. I have sensitive skin and this wash has not dried my skin out at all. Like other products, the first few weeks it will pull everything out of your skin and make you break out, but this one wasn't as bad as others I've used. Once I got past that it has been fairly clear skin and when I do get a pimple it seems to be on the surface an easily removed. The only this it hasn't done is clear my blackheads around my nose area too much but hopefully with further use they disappear.

I have been using this 90 day kit by Perricone MD for a little over a month and so far the results are amazing for me! I am a 34 year old woman that struggles with PCOS which causes a lot of acne for myself. I have all types of acne, such as pustules, blackheads, whiteheads, and painful cystic acne mostly on the lower portion of my face. I have used many different facial cleansers, treatments, and moisturizers to hopefully help my skin, but I never really saw many improvements. I absolutely hate looking at my skin without makeup on, because how bad it can get and it can be pretty upsetting for me. I took a before picture, which was so hard for me to do considering the condition of my skin. Once I got the kit, I immediately started using it, hoping it would be better than the others. The cleanser is very gentle and non-foaming, but I could get a little bit of bubbles when I used my battery powered facial brush. The texture is similar to this natural toothpaste, not gritty just thick and lotion like. You wash your face twice a day, then follow up with a treatment. There are two treatments the Calming Treatment and Hydrator (for the morning) and the Retinol Treatment and Moisturizer (for night). None of the products left my face feeling dry or greasy, they helped my skin feel very balanced and comfortable. After over a month of use, I took an after photo and I was pretty surprised! I had zero active acne, my redness and irritation had calmed dramatically, my face appeared brighter, and one pro you can't see in a picture is the pain from the cystic acne I once had was gone (along with the cystic bumps). I still have more time left in this kit, so I can't wait to see how I will look and feel at the end of the 90 days! I am so impressed and thankful for this kit. I'm not 100% clear of redness, but with everything else being so much better, my self-esteem is improving... I even went out in public without makeup on and that says a lot for me. I highly recommend this!

Not for sensitive skin!
Just using the face wash and the day cream I noticed a slight improvement of my acne. When I used the night cream as well it was way too strong. My face was burning from the wash and my skin was peeling off badly. It hurt a lot. My friend got it to try for free also and she also has sensitive skin that peeled off in layers. Maybe this works for other people but not for us.

Not too shabby for an OTC acne product
I've been suffering from adult acne for a long time and have tried everything: prescription topicals, oral medications, birth control, peels, etc. Nothing has helped -- not until this Perricone kit, anyway. I was a little skeptical given the difficulty of controlling my acne, but I started to notice real improvement after a couple of weeks of using this kit. I'm hoping it will continue to go in that direction. I really like that the kit has products for morning and evening, and I didn't have any sensitivity issues to any of them. No flaking or redness. The downside is that this stuff stinks, so anyone who's sensitive to smells may be turned off by it. The pros outweigh the cons for me, but keep in mind that this kit isn't cheap. If it works, I don't mind paying for it, but it could be a little steep if you're not used to dumping all your spare money into acne treatments. Overall I really liked this kit and I'm excited to see what my skin looks like at the end of the 90 days.

Great product for beautiful clear skin
I have been using this Perricone skin care acne relief regimen now for about 1.5 months day and night. My skin looks so much better and smoother. When I turned 40 over 6 months ago I started getting horrible acne. I'm not sure what happened as I didn't change anything to make my face more oily or susceptible to acne. I was so upset as I normally have clear skin. I have tried lots of different things only to have more breakouts. So I was excited to try this acne prebiotic therapy set by Perricone since I had heard good things about this brand! I use the step 1 gentle & soothing cleanser day and night. It's gentle on my skin and not harsh like some other brands i've used in the past. I lathered a small quarter sized amount and massaged onto my damp face, then rinsed with warm water. Then every morning I use the step 2 calming treatment & hydrator which is a lightweight lotion that gently kills acne causing bacteria while hydrating my skin all day so it helps to prevent breaksouts along with treating current ones! At night I repeat the cleanser and also use the step 2 night retinol treatment & moisturizer. The formula is lightweight to control the excess oils overnight while I sleep without overdrying my face . My face looks so much better and I haven't had any acne now in a couple of weeks. The moisturizers in the treatment are lightweight and didn't clog my pores either. You really need to use the regimen day and night religiously to see faster great results like I did! Sometimes your skin can get a little worse before it gets better! I know a couple people said it was too drying but that was not the case for me as it worked awesome! I am happy to have clearer skin after using the Perricone acne relief set and will continue using this to keep my skin clear and beautifully smooth. I highly recommend you try it, you won't be disappointed.
