My initial thoughts of
My initial thoughts of the Perricone MD Hypoallergenic CBD Sensitive Skin Therapy Rebalancing Elixir. First off, this is an essence all day every day no matter now you cut it, I don't know why western brands feel the need to stay away from the term, making up terms like "elixir" just confuses people and then they don't know where it fits into their routine. Just call it what it is, an essence. Ok, rant over. This product is supposed to be soothing and "rebalancing" helping with redness, irritation, hydration, texture and tone. It has the latest buzz ingredient CBD which has been marketed as soothing. What I think the Star ingredients should be is the variety of mushrooms there have in here, which have a much longer history of soothing and providing antioxidants. And as it's made for sensitive skin is is free of most potential allergens, fragrance, parabens, silicones and all those other ingredients people seem to be avoiding like the plague lately. I have combo reactive skin and rosacea so I'm a great tester for this. It has been soothing and has not given me any reactions nor made my redness worse. I will say this is nowhere near as hydrating as I was expecting and my skin did not feel anywhere as hydrated as it would with another basic essence or toner. It sinks in fast but left a very faint stickiness which is fine since I apply other skincare on top. This reminds me of a lighter less hydrating version of the Origins Mega Mushroom Skin Relief. If you are very dry I'm not positive you would like this as an essence, but if you are not concerned about this step adding a lot of hydration then you would be fine. Overall I'll keep using this product and will update everyone in my review to see if there was any long term reduction in redness or sensitivity.

My first impressions are
My first impressions are wonderful! I love it! It says to sale the bottle twice, pat your hands together and then gently tap onto the face. It has just a tiny bit more of a consistency than water which is helpful transferring it from the hands to the face; it's doesn't seep out as fast. It has no noticeable scent. I don't feel you have to spend a fortune for a good quality product but when it comes to CBD I insist on a high quality brand that has third party testing done. I personally have finally found a tincture I can trust that's been working to help me with pain, anxiety and sleep issues. Perricone MD did it
Perricone MD did it again! When I received this box my face was in a downward spiral. I was literally hiding. No joke! I've always had skin issues. I used a prescription that helped clear it up years ago but it's starting to break out again. I also suffer from psoriatic arthritis as well. Anyway, after using this product my skin already feels different and a large cystic pimple on the side of my nose is GONE! I don't know if it was this product but it wasn't going anywhere before I started using it so my bet is on this sweet elixir. My skin doesn't itch like it normally does when I put on products either. I'm impressed! I plan on using this complementary bottle and then purchasing some after. It's well worth the money.

Let's talk about hydration
Let's talk about hydration and texture. . . This water-like elixir packs a punch. It sinks instantly into the skin with no adverse reactions so far. I have been using this for two weeks thus far. For my fragrance folks - there is a bit of an off odor that I can only assume is from the CBD and mushroom ingredients. But note that this odor does not linger and is not noticeable after a few seconds. Also note that while this is a pricey product, you really do not need to use more than a few drops. . . I use this after cleansing and before my serums. I will apply my toners - then this - then serums and then move onward to creams. I do see a boost to my hydration levels since introducing this to my routine.

Where have you been
Where have you been all my life! It's the definition of gentle, and doesn't leave a residue (a little sticky at first) At first I was hesitant since pretty all things cause me to break out. I'm but not this.. it's easy to use, and a little goes a long way. The smell is a little different and I can't quite describe it but the light scent it has doesn't linger long. The price of this product is a little I think, but the size of the hotel is impressive. I will definitely be buying more and more!! Let's just hope my skin decides to like it more then one month.. that's the 1 test!!!

Best product I didn't
Best product I didn't know I needed! My skin is dry and mature and super sensitive for extra measure. Lucky me! After I workout I often have exercise induced rosacea. Post workout and shower I pat this on my face and redness gone! It instantly calms and moisturizes my finicky skin. Can't imagine not using it daily for the long haul. A definite keeper!!

I received this product a few weeks ago and am just now writing this review because I really wanted to take a fair amount of time in trying it (I don't believe skincare reviews can happen in a day or two, testing takes time). I was a bit surprised by the price of this, 99 dollars, but if a product truly works I don't mind spending the money on it. So I've had pretty good skin my whole life, but at 41, in the earlier part of this year, I suddenly began breaking out in tiny, flesh colored bumps all over my face, from the eyes down. I have NO idea what caused them. I tried various higher end acne treatments, etc and nothing was helping... I was at my wits end, and by April, adding mask wearing to the mix, the bumps seemed to get even worse. I had read about fungal acne and went the route of treating the bumps as it it were fungal acne. Weeks went by and still nothing was helping. I had recieved this product in the midst of all that hassle. I started using it after my Paula's Choice bha exfoliant, not really expecting much after the countless things I had tried before this. I swear within days the bumps had almost disappeared. I was dumbfounded and so excited at the same time. I still have no idea what was going on with my skin, but this stuff really worked wonders for clearing it up, and I will ABSOLUTELY be purchasing this after my free tester is gone. It's a very watery toner type consistency, with a very VERY faint "natural" smell. I just shake a little into my hands and pat it into my skin, then follow up with the rest of my skincare. I use it morning and night. I personally really love the heavy, luxe feeling glass bottle it comes in too, but I'm a bit of a sucker for nice packaging. 10000% recommend!!!

I loved getting a
I loved getting a chance to try this innovative new product by Perricone MD. CBD oil is all the rage right now and this was my first foray into it in beauty products. It is especially for sensitive skin which I also loved about it. I don't have super sensitive skin but I am careful not to use daily products that are too harsh. I really enjoyed the consistency of this product and it made my skin feel soft and refreshed with no harsh after effects. I have aging skin so that is my major skincare concern. After all, I want to maintain that youthful glow. All in all it wasn't my all-time favorite skin care product but I did really enjoy it and how my skin felt after using it daily. if you suffer from very sensitive skin, this would be an excellent product to use!!

I was so excited
I was so excited to try this product, as I have never tested a CBD enhanced product before, but unfortunately, I have not had great results. I honestly don't know what ingredient is the culprit, but I have been breaking out during the few weeks I've been using this elixir, and I do not typically have acne prone skin. Pretty sad about it though, I tend to love Perricone MD products. So, while I cannot continue to use the elixir, I have passed it on to someone else to try out. I received this product free for testing purposes from Influenster as part of a VoxBox campaign.

I liked the packaging
I liked the packaging of this product but unfortunately I didn't notice any change. It did not change my skins brightness or texture. I will not be purchasing this product again.
