Smells Like Old Lady Powdery Perfume
from Pasadena, CA
About Me Brand Buyer
Comments about Perricone MD Nutritive Cleanser:
I wanted to like this so much. :( I was a faithful, borderline fanatical user Erno Laszlo from ages 22 to 55 when they changed the formulas on several of their products without telling customers until we called them on it publicly. My skin used to be oily until about age 53, became combination and is now on the dry side at age 57.5. This Nutritive cleanser still dried out my skin. I had used most of the sample size of the Citrus Wash that came in the introductory package, but thought I'd try something milder. The fishy smell of the Sub D is actually preferable to the powdery, old-lady perfume scent of this cleanser. I can say this because I'm an old lady who remembers vividly this scent. The scent of this isn't suitable for a facial cleaner (we want a clean scent if any) but would be okay for bath wash if you wanted a heavily perfumed wash.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Reeks of baby powder, not a natural scen
I have been a long time perricone fan , love my moisturizer, eye cream, plasmas and no foundation foundation. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of this product. It smells like Johnson & Johnson baby powder and makes me think of toxic ingredients.

Good cleanser as far as how my skin responds, but the cleanser and toner both have a skunk smell and I will not purchase again just for that.

Opposite of how described
from Portsmouth, NH
It felt good going on-didn't over lather. But dried my skin out terribly and developed a rash overnight-stingy and a bit itchy.

The best cleanser I've ever used.

About Me Budget Buyer
I've used Nutritive Cleanser for years now and love it. I have enlarged pores and little white bumps and this is the only cleanser that actually made a difference in my skin texture! I've never experienced a bad small ever from this cleanser and it takes at least three months or more to use a whole bottle. I love Perricone products I just wish they were less expensice.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
