too harsh for my skin, sorry

About Me Brand Buyer
Comments about Perricone MD Citrus Facial Wash:
This product came as a gift with an order of SubD which IS fantastic. However, this facial wash was just to harsh and dehydrating for my skin. I'm sure it cleaned my skin well, but the after effects were not great - my face went quite red and I had to immediately moisturise to soothe it back to normal. This product would much better suit a person with greasy, oily, combination skin....sensitive and dry skin requires something a lot more gentle and soothing. sorry....I really LOVE Perricone products, just not this one :(
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I trade off on my daily cleanser-I use this Citrus Wash and then use the Nutritive Cleanser. (Because I have issues that both address!) I've found that if you use a daily cleanser you truly do see cumulative effects-hence the title "Daily Cleanser"? ;-) I had humongous pores on my nose and chin when I first started using the a Citrus Wash along with pretty severe sun damage on my cheeks and forehead . At first I only used it when I saw my pores looking 'bad', but after a week of using it every day I noticed that they had quit looking 'bad'! That was enough to convince me! Then my niece came to visit and took one look at me exclaiming, " Aunt! Your face looks so marvelous! What have you been doing! I want it!" Need I say more?
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Finally something that REALLY WORKS!!
By Chantel Nichole
This cleanser really does clean your skin. That should be a given for any cleanser, but it's not. The last 4 cleansers I have tried (all from expensive brands)have left makeup on my skin after cleansing (I'm talking cleansing for 2-4min using a Clairsonic AFTER using a makeup remover!), and I don't wear very much makeup. So to find a cleanser that does what it's supposed to do is exciting. Besides actually doing it's job and cleaning my skin, it hasn't dried out my skin even though it seems to thoroughly remove oil. My skin looks more toned after using it.I bought this cleanser as part of the Pore Prescription Set, along with Cold Plasma and the Advanced Evening Repair. I started using all of the products at the same time. I use the entire Pore Prescription Set in the AM, applying Cold Plasma after the toner and before the pore treatment. In PM I use this cleanser, the toner, Cold Plasma, then Advanced Evening Repair. I don't know which of these products is doing the heavy lifting, or if they all just work brilliantly together, but after 3 weeks of following this regimen, my skin has NEVER looked better! From the time I turned 19 until today (I'm 35) I have had uneven, splotchy skin. I have struggled with cyctic hormonal breakouts, stress breakouts, enlarged pores, and blackheads on my nose and cheeks. Not only do I always have at least two huge pimples to cover up at any given time, usually more, but now I'm getting wrinkles on my forhead and around my nose. My skin can go from oily in the summer to extrememly dry in the winter. And the last couple of months it got even worse. Not only did I have the usual cyctic acne, but my forehead and both jaws become covered with tiny red pimples. And absolutely nothing I tried would make them disapear. Three weeks ago when I started this regimen, my skin had never looked worse. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years ( from drugstore brands like Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, Proactive, and Roc to more expensive brands, B. Kamins, Erno Lazlo, Dr. Hauschka, Murad, DDF, Skinscuenticals, La Roche Posey, Avene, Somme, Dermalogica, Skin Medica, Bliss, Kiehls, and Dr. Brandt. As well as prescription Glycolic Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide, and retinol. I've also tried antibiotics and birth control pills)trying to find something that will give me the clear, even toned skin of my dreams.I was a little nervous that this system wasn't going to work because I didn't start seeing results right away (within a week-I know, I'm an inpatient person) and all of these products were ridiculously expensive. In fact, for the first couple of weeks my skin became even more oily. By week two though, all of my cyctic pimples deep down in my skin were gone. I could feel new ones come up under the skin, but they would shrink and disappear within a couple of days and never broke the surface or became visible enough to need to cover with makeup. Also in week two, the breakout of tiny red pimples all over my forehead and jaw that had been there for two months started to disapear. It's week three and I am so happy to say I do not have ONE pimple anywear on my face, the pores on my nose and cheeks are smaller and completely clear of blackheads, the fine lines on my forhead are less visible, and my skin is more even toned than it has ever been been. I am so excited. I can't stop looking at myself in the mirror!I don't know if these products or this specific regimen will work for everyone, and I know they are really expensive, but this has worked for me when nothing else has. I will spend less on clothes, bags, eating out, travel...anything, to be able to afford to keep using these products. I have wished for nice skin for 16 years and now I have it. That's worth it to me.

Like a professional facial
from Chicago, IL
I have used this for 8 days. From the first day it left my skin feeling and looking really clean. By day 2, pores appeared smaller and this continues. They are still there but less noticeable. Each time I use it my skin looks the way it does after a professional facial. It now has a healthy sheen. I don't use a moisturizer at night and on day 6 my skin started to get dry, so I just ordered the Photo Plasma. Hope it's the right choice!

About Me Budget Buyer
I usually would consider myself a 'Budget Buyer', but when I received this Citrus Wash as a sample from Sephora--I was immediately hooked on Perricone MD products! I am over 50 yrs old, but have a multitude of skin issues of all ages--lucky me! This Citrus Wash helps with the large pores on my nose and chin, and with continued use appears to have helped with my oily skin on my T-zone. My friends and family have complimented me on the appearance of my skin since i've started using this line of skin products-which is enough to get me to switch!
